Unit 716. I love following food trends.

I love following trends, or particularly food trends, so much that I'm constantly looking for new ones.

English On The Go

Some people can be quite anti-following trends,

but when it comes to food trends, I am all aboard that train.

I am sitting in the front-row seat, first-class ticket because I am all about food trends.

Like, I know people can look down on them, as in, like,

“Oh, why is everyone jumping on the same boat?”

Like, you know, “You should get, you know, your own sense of whatever.”

But I think it's just fun. Why does everything have to be so serious?

Like, you know, at the moment in Korea, everything is about the black sugar pearl milk tea.

That's all you see at the moment.

And then you've … all these other trends have come out like that,

as in, like, the black sugar cakes and the black sugar ice cream and the black sugar bingsu.

But I say more of it. I love it. I think it's great.
