When it comes to dining out or eating out, the biggest difference between the United States and the rest of the world has to be the tipping culture.

If I'm not mistaken, the biggest difference between
dining out or eating out here in the United States versus the rest of the world has to be the tipping culture.
When I was a young boy, 15 percent was standard operating procedure
to tip a waiter or waitress or a server at the end of your meal.
Somewhere in the last five to ten years, though, 15 percent turned into 20 percent.
This is now the norm here when you go out to eat,
and it doesn't even have to be a fine-dining restaurant.
Do I agree with this? Not really anymore.
I feel like when I lived in Korea, the service that I received from my server at any particular restaurant
was just as good as the service I receive here.
They would go running to fetch something for me if I asked for it.
And the only difference was that at the end of the night,
your bill was smaller in Korea than it is here.
