Unit 611. I don’t watch as much TV anymore.
< 본문 >
I don’t watch as much TV anymore.
As a child, I used to spend hours in front of the television, but now I wonder whether it perhaps may be a thing of the past.
English On The Go
When I was a child, one of my favorite parts of the day was coming home from school and getting to watch television.
I could spend hours in front of the TV because I had so many cartoons that I loved to watch.
But I was thinking recently that this has changed drastically because I barely ever watch TV anymore.
And in fact, in the flat that I'm currently living in, I don't even own a TV.
And most of my friends actually don't watch TV anymore
because everything is available online to stream onto your laptops.
And, if anything, TV is just used to play in the background so that some noise is going on.
And it made me wonder whether television perhaps is a thing of the past,
because even kids nowadays seem to have many other activities they would rather be doing than watching TV.
And it makes me think how much more technology is going to develop and what we're going to see in the near future.
