Thinking back to my childhood now, I understand even more how fast technology develops.

Let me tell you a small anecdote from my childhood.

I was a very adventurous and rebellious young lady that got into all sorts of trouble.

I even managed to break my arm simply by watching TV.

Now, to make it easier to understand how something ridiculous like that could happen, let me explain first.

This is the most ridiculous movie I’ve ever seen.

I was born in the early ’90s, when words like “flat screen” and “plasma screen” didn't exist yet.

We had a CRT TV, which was basically a huge device that was heavy and cumbersome.

I had misplaced the remote,

so I decided to change the channel by pushing the button that was located on the TV itself.

Unfortunately, I was too small to reach it. So I got angry. I stomped my feet,

and I got dead serious because I didn't want to miss the movie that was about to start.

So I climbed onto the TV table, I lost balance, and the heavy TV fell onto my arm.

I was so embarrassed that I told all of my friends that I had a bike accident.

CRT = cathode-ray tube 음극선관
